Who we are

Award winning business ‘Little Sunshine Mindfulness & Yoga’ was founded by primary teacher Katie Scott when she began practicing yoga, many years ago, understanding the impact that this had on her well-being.

With over 30 years experience working with children, Katie could see the increase in mental health issues in young people & wanted to make a difference for our future generation.

She began ‘Little Sunshine’ in 2017 delivering yoga & mindfulness in schools. She then began to create more content delivering mindfulness/self esteem programmes, publishing two books ‘Taking worry out of the classroom’, volume one & two.

Since then, she has developed holistic, creative, emotional well-being courses with the aim of training teachers/educators in mindfulness/self-regulation, peer massage & creative yoga.

Katie has a passion for celebrating individuality, connecting the link between neurodiversity, empathy & creativity. She believes that all children have a unique quality which should be encouraged & supported to help them reach their full potential.
